Lawndale Community Christian Center
Lawndale Christian Legal Center 1530 S. Hamlin, Chicago, ILCOPA will speak to a group of young adults at the Lawndale Community Christian Center to educate them on the role that the agency plays in Chicago and the importance of police oversight and accountability.
Public Meetings of the Police Board
Chicago Public Safety Headquarters 3510 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL, United StatesThe Police Board holds a regular public meeting once a month. Members of the public are invited to attend and are welcome to address questions or comments to the Board. The Superintendent of Police (or his designee) and the Chief Administrator of the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (or her designee) will be at the meetings. Prior sign-up is required of those wishing to address the Board; contact the Board's office by 4:30 p.m. of the day before the meeting to add your name to the list of speakers.
The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place at the Chicago Public Safety Headquarters.

COPA will provided a presentation to job trainees apart of the Jane Addams Resource Corporation Austin Office to discuss the role our agency plays in police reform.
5th Ward Community Meeting
Join the 5th Ward Community Monthly Meeting and learn what’s going on in the ward from Ald. Leslie Hairston. This event is open to the public and will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church located at 5500 S. Woodlawn – Chicago, IL.

37th Ward, Alderman Emma Mitts Community Meeting
Alderman Emma Mitts Office 4924 W. Chicago Ave., Chicagio, IL, United StatesCOPA will speak at the 37th Ward Community Meeting on police accountability. This is an opportunity for constituents to meet with COPA leadership staff and Alderman Mitts to learn about what’s going on in their ward. Attendees can also learn about COPA’s investigative process including how to report outcomes to the citizens we serve and how to reduce police misconduct.
