COPA will participate in this food distribution community event to help the public better understand the agency mission and explain the importance of police oversight. This event will take place at New Life Centers Humboldt Park Campus (3908 W. Hirsch) on March 13 from 6-8PM.
DFSS My Chi My Future Sustainability Summit
COPA participated in the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services Sustainability Summit for the My Chi My Future Delegate Agencies who met with nonprofit organizations from across Chicago. The event allowed for the opportunity to connect and partner in the coming months with their youth programming.
Kelvyn Park High School Career Fair
COPA attended the Kelvyn Park High School Career Fair. We were able to engage young people in learning about police accountability careers and answered questions on how to file complaints or compliments towards members of the Chicago Police Department.
Mikva Challenge Safety & Justice Youth Council
COPA’s Chief Investigative Law Officer Katarina Durcova held a conversation about the 4th Amendment with the Safety & Justice Youth Council at Mikva Challenge. Young people conversed about search & seizure and engaged in asking thoughtful questions.

Gage Park Community Meeting
