Beidler Elementary End of the School Year Block Party

COPA had a great time attending the Saint Stephen Community Center & Playstreets Block Party end-of-the-year celebration held at Beidler Elementary School in East Garfield Park. COPA was able to set up a resource table at this event to help youth, staff, and residents in this area understand our role in police accountability.

Día del Niño Celebración

COPA plans to participate in the Día del Niño Celebración held in Hanson Park which will be coordinated by the Northwest Side CDC. COPA plans to give out information on our role in police accountability.  This event will be held from 12PM-4PM at Hanson Park Campus 2148 N. Long Ave Chicago, IL 60639.

The Leaders Network Community Meeting

COPA plans to attend this meeting comprised of faith and community leaders that work together to organize, strategize and mobilize to improve the quality of life for the west side communities. This event begins at 9:30AM and will take place at Columbus Park Refectory (5701 W. Jackson Blvd).
