Katarina Durcova, Chief Investigative Law Officer
Katarina Durcova has more than 12 years of investigative and legal experience, previously serving as an Attorney at COPA. Katarina joined COPA from the Illinois Torture Inquiry and Relief Commission, where she served as an Attorney and led numerous investigations into claims of tortured confessions. Previously, Katarina served as a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney and as a judicial clerk to multiple judges in Cook County’s Criminal Division. Katarina is a graduate of the University of Iowa and, in 2011, received her Juris Doctorate from University of Illinois Law (previously The John Marshall Law School).
